What Is Meditation?
According to ancient teachings, meditation is a method of changing our minds from within. Simply put, meditation is a way of quieting one’s thoughts.

Experience Buddhist Meditation
Buddhist traditions offer a wealth of beneficial meditation practices. Come along and discover the benefits for yourself.
This evening will cover: Mindfulness, connecting to the Buddha, loving-kindness (metta), Buddhist mantra for compassion and spiritual joy.

Evening Meditation & Yoga Nidra
A restorative evening beginning with mindful and relaxing meditation followed by the practice of Yoga Nidra and the hypnotic sounds of Himalayan singing bowls.
A yoga mat, cushion and blanket is required. We do have some available, please let us know in advance if you require any to borrow.

Meeting meditation- a 4 week course in St Albans
Are you interested in learning more about meditation? Not sure if you can fit a daily practice into your life? Maybe you find meditation challenging?
Discover the benefits of meditation and how to develop and maintain a practice. We will explore a variety of techniques from various traditions and discover the right meditation path for you.
Meditation techniques will include: mindfulness, mantras, guided visualisations, meditations for cultivating positive feelings and more. This course is suitable for both beginners and those with some meditation experience.
Dates: 28th September, 5th, 12th and 19th October 7.15-8.45pm

Cost: 4 week course: £35 or £10 weekly drop in
For 13-18 year olds: £30 for 4 weeks or £8 weekly drop in
One To One Meditation Guidance
We also offer one to one Meditation guidance sessions for those who are new to meditation or who would like to explore meditation further.
Each session is unique to the individual designed by Victoria based on a full consultation given at the start of your first session.
