According to ancient teachings, meditation is a method of changing our minds from within. Simply put, meditation is a way of quieting one’s thoughts.

Heartfulness meditation evening


The nature of the mind is activity, so to focus meditation on the mind can mean that the mind becomes very active when some people try to sit for meditation. This can cause people to feel like meditation is too much of a struggle and they give up. Does this sound familiar?

Through heart focused meditations, we can experience a calm, steady state of being which enables us in time to transcend the limited mind.

This evening of heart meditation is suitable for all, including those with no previous meditation experience.

Heart centred meditation and sound bath


Join us for a heart meditation practice followed by a deeply relaxing sound bath including the healing vibrations of sacred chants, Reiki drumming, singing bowls and gong.

Samhain meditation evening


Samhain (pronouned sow-ein) is the cross-quarter festival between the end of Autumn and the beginning of Winter. Samhain is a magical time in the Celtic calendar in which our ancestors are remembered. It is also a time in which we begin to adjust to the darker and colder days of the new season. It is a good time to rest, reflect and find inspiration and direction for the future.

Suitable for all, including those with no previous meditation experience.

Learn to guide meditation


A two day introductory workshop with Victoria in which you can learn how to guide groups or individuals in meditation.

Course includes practical experience, refreshments and a two course lunch each day. You will also receive a certificate of attendance accredited by the IPHM (International Practitioners of Holistic Medicine)

Over the two days, we will be discovering the benefits of meditation, different forms and styles of meditation from a variety of traditions. We will explore how to facilitate groups and individuals and how to use meditation techniques as an aid and addition to relaxation and holistic therapies.

It is recommended that you have at least one years experience of a regular meditation practice if you are wishing to learn to facilitate meditation for others.

Mantra meditation and chanting


Experience the benefits of using mantras (sacred words or sound) in meditation. We will experience both silent repetition of mantra along with the practice of chanting. Chanting mantras can aid us in entering deep states of meditation, joy and bliss. Learn techniques to open your heart and feel comfortable using your voice.

Suitable for all including those who have no previous meditation or chanting experience.

One to one meditation guidance


We also offer one to one Meditation guidance sessions for those who are new to meditation or who would like to explore meditation further.

Each session is unique to the individual designed by Victoria based on a full consultation given at the start of your first session.

Please note these are available at Nutmeg Spa on Monday and Tuesday daytime only.

£30 per person or £40 per couple

All classes must be booked and paid in advance.
